Durability
1.5 mm front and back rubber protection. Double stitching on upper and waterproof thread. Anti-corrosion treatment on lace hoops and hooks. 1.6/1.8 mm undressed leather and nubuck.
Waterproofing
Undressed leather, nubuck leather and waterproof full grain leather. PU glue foam, tongue, laces and non-absorbent upper reinforcements. Certified to withstand 8,000 dynamic flexes.
Sole cushioning
Molded Eva at heel to cushion heel impact when walking. Top when it comes to cleanliness, the 5 mm thick polyurethane molded foam supports the arch.
Sole construction (4 layers)
Milled Eva part at front for lightness. TPU section to support heel and mid-foot. Rubber sole
Comfort
15 mm adhesive foam for malleolus comfort. 4 mm inner shoe foam. Full grain leather at neck for greater comfort and softness when walking. 3D mesh neck lining to absorb perspiration.
Support
Tall upper to cover ankles. 4 hooks on neck for greater support and more accurate fastening.
2 "locking" hooks to secure the lace once the bottom part has been tied, the fastened mid foot will not come undone whilst moving.
TPU part around the outer upper and within the sole to strengthen the front of the shoe and the mid foot (the green part of the sole, plastic part). 2 mm stiffener to strengthen the front.
Sole traction/grip
Optimized inter-stud space to release the mud. Optimized contact surface at the heel and forefoot for better grip.
Product Testing
All our Solognac boots are field tested under a variety of hunting conditions, and especially in abrasive vegetation such as brambles. \nThe Supertrack 500 boots were tested under real-life boar stalking conditions for 3 months, four days a week, by our testers in different biotopes, brambles, thorns, etc.
